The staff was nice and welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable, had lots of channels on the tv to pick from, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and the location was perfect for us with a playground right across the street and easy swim access to the river right across the street as well. It was in walking distance of downtown but not to close so it’s still relatively quiet. Gas station across the street in front of the motel. A great restaurant (Big Daddy’s) next door that had very nice live music.

But the check in wasn't so good. we paid online for the room but when we come in to get our key, the computer wasn't registering the payment right and a manager had to be called. when i got my credit card statement, i was charged the discounted online price PLUS the original price. when i called to get it corrected i was told it was credited back, but instead it was charged twice! as of yet it has not been resolved.

it was right near town and the river, had a fitness center and pool even though we didn’t get to swim due to it being cold outside it’s a great feature along with the gorgeous scenery and the seating under the trees, they have continental breakfast which was ok just wish they had more variety.

The location was perfect for the Riverside Park Christmas lighting and restaurants. Nice walk to downtown Helen. Room had a balcony overlooking the park and really enjoyed the fireplace. It's definitely a great location!

We were greeted as we entered the lobby by a young lady who knew my name. That was impressive! She was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us suggestions on restaurants. The room Was large and clean.
